Kapitall Secures $13 Million In Financing

NEW YORK, Feb. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Kapitall, the next generation investing platform, today announced it has raised $13 million from a group of new and existing investors. The new round of financing is led by Linden Venture Fund LLC and includes Bendigo Partners, an early investor and provider of services to Kapitall. In combination with previous funding, Kapitall has now raised nearly $25 million, as the startup continues its mission of making the world of investing accessible, fun, and rewarding for all. Kapitall will use the financing to develop new products, drive community growth, and push forward with its goal of becoming the investing platform of choice for young and modern investors.

Most of today's online investing platforms are geared towards experienced, traditional traders. Kapitall is revolutionizing investing with a unique user experience that draws on game mechanics. The platform is visual, social, educational, and especially appealing to the 85 million-strong men and women of Generation Y.
