Kelly Bennett Joins Netflix as Chief Marketing Officer
LOS GATOS, Calif., July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX), the world's leading Internet subscription service for enjoying movies and TV programs, today named Kelly Bennett its Chief Marketing Officer.

Bennett is a nine-year veteran of Warner Bros, most recently Vice President Interactive, World Wide Marketing with the pictures group where he led the international online campaigns for Warner Bros movies, including the most recent Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes films and the just-released The Dark Knight Rises.
"Kelly has been a pioneer in developing incredible digital campaigns for some of the biggest box office hits in recent years," said Netflix Chief Executive Officer Reed Hastings . Prior to assuming his current position, Bennett ran digital marketing for Warner Bros Pictures in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and worked in promotion and business development for the company. Additionally, he has held executive positions at Dow Jones International, Ignition Media, and served as partner at the online marketing agency Cimex Media, all based in London, UK. The Canada-born Bennett is a graduate of Simon Fraser University.
In his new position, Bennett will report to Hastings.
