Column Features Highly Rated Apps for Readers Pegged to Timely Issues

NEW YORK and ATLANTA, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- King Features Syndicate and Mobilewalla, the search, discovery and analytics engine for mobile apps, today announced the launch of a new syndicated weekly column offering readers highly ranked apps pegged to relevant and timely issues. The themed columns, to be published three times a week, are set to launch the week of October 16th, and will offer both ratings and descriptions of every app.

The columns will be an edited selection of apps with a high popularity score measured by Mobilewalla's independent scoring system that ranks every app in the marketplace from 0 to 100. Each week, news subscribers will receive a column titled "Fastest Moving Apps of the Week" which will introduce readers to apps experiencing the most dramatic increases in popularity. Two additional "Weekly Category" features pegged to relevant issues, ranging from sports to fashion apps, from holiday and travel preparation to child education apps for parents, will also be syndicated.
