Kislak Mortgage to Open Storefronts Throughout Florida to Provide Easily Accessible Mortgage Loans

MIAMI LAKES, Fla., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- J.I. Kislak Mortgage LLC (Kislak Mortgage) announced today its strategy to open as many as 10 store-front offices across the state of Florida to provide residents with mortgages over the next year.  

Initially, the Company is looking to open stores across Florida in areas including Miami-Dade, Broward, Duval, and Hillsborough counties, as well as in Orlando, Jacksonville, and other major metropolitan areas.  The offices will offer qualified Floridians mortgage loans and products to help them achieve the American dream of homeownership.

Kislak Mortgage will shorten the waiting period for qualified buyers by bringing all of the underwriting and funding operations in-house in its Miami Lakes offices.  Currently, mortgage approval times are running as long as a few weeks.  Kislak Mortgage will shorten that time to two to three days if the applicant meets all the necessary underwriting criteria.

Kislak Mortgage anticipates employing upward of 150 loan originators and servicers.  Approximately half of these jobs will be loan officers who will staff the Kislak Mortgage stores throughout Florida.  Kislak's processing, underwriting, and funding operations anticipate adding dozens of new employees to handle the flow of mortgages originated by its bricks-and-mortar operations across the state.
