Koneksa CEO Joined Faculty at Keystone Symposium on Digital Health

NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Koneksa Health, a private company that enables the biopharmaceutical industry to develop new medicines using innovative solutions such as digital biomarkers and novel clinical endpoints, announced today that CEO Chris Benko presented at the Keystone Symposia "Digital Health: From Science to Application" conference on Jan. 23.

This is the first digital health conference that focuses specifically on the scientific foundations and health applications of digital technologies. Benko presented on the topic of "Using Wearable Technologies to Enable Novel Endpoint Development and Remote Data Collection in Clinical Trials," in a session on "Applications of Digital Health Technologies to Drug Development." The presentation highlighted advantages of using wearable devices in clinical development, described requirements for reliable data, and shared Koneksa's experience in this work in more than 25 sponsored trials.

Other presenters in the drug development session included Andrea Coravos of Elektra Labs on "The Rise of Ethical Digital Medicine: Biomarkers, Diagnostics and Therapeutics," Eric Perakslis of Harvard Medical School on "Digital Biomarkers and More Efficient Clinical Drug Development," and Alessio Signorini of Evidation Health on "Digital Phenotyping and Post-Approval Monitoring of Drugs."
