LONDON, May 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Whilst working as a diplomat and stationed in Mauritius I got attacked by five armed villains and in the ensuing robbery I got stabbed in the back and needed rapid emergency treatment. Being a diplomat I received fantastic service and help during a very stressful and worrying time for my family and me. I felt peace of mind that the FCO was there to support me through this time.
When I left the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in 2012; I looked to see if there was something similar in the private sector. I was amazed to find that there is no such thing as consular assistance in the private sector.
Thus, the only option was that I had to recreate this new service from my previous experience and transfer it into the private sector and ensure that the service surpassed the service as given now by government.
It has taken nearly two years of struggle. But Consularcare is now the foremost pioneering consular assistance company in the world. We have now launched our new consumer website - http://www.consularassist.com.
This is perfect for parents worried about their kids going off travelling or for the nervous traveller in these uncertain times.
We have created strategic partnerships and alliances to resell our version of consular assistance and these include to the insurance market, to the education market, to the London Academy of Diplomacy, and to one of the largest VISA issuing companies in Europe.
