Leading Traders Join First New York Securities

Following is the list of professionals who have recently joined First New York, by business line.

Options

• Dennis Davitt joins as Head of Options Trading focused primarily on Equities. He spent the last 10 years at Credit Suisse as US Head of Derivatives trading. Prior to that, he was a Senior Trader at Wolverine Trading in Chicago.
• Brian Donlin joins as a Trader on the Options Desk.  He previously worked at Macquarie Capital, Fox-Pitt Kelton and LaBranche Structured Products.
• Steve Sevier joins as a Trader on the Options Desk.  He previously worked at Macquarie Capital and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
• Ben Cohen joins as a Trader on the Options Desk.  He previously was a Portfolio Manager at Toro Trading and BAM Capital, prior to that he was with Jefferies and Goldman Sachs.

Macro Rates/FX

• Alain Delelis joins as a Trader on the Macro Rates/FX desk with a focus on Foreign Exchange. He previously served as the Global Head of Spot & Prop Trading at Credit Suisse and has held positions at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and Vega Asset Management.
• Roland Clough joins as a Trader on the Macro Rates/FX desk with a focus on Latin America. He joins from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and has worked in a variety of countries over the course of his career, including the UK, Mexico and Venezuela.
• Robert Farrell joins as a Trader on the Macro Rates desk. He most recently worked as a Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley and has held positions at Soros Fund Management, Countrywide Capital Markets, AFG and Bankers Trust.

Commodities

• Bill Brindise joins as an Energy Trader in the Commodities Group. He previously worked at BES Capital and SHK Management as Head Energy Trader. 

Equities

• Ken Lissak joins as a Trader in Equities. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he most recently served as partner at AmTech Capital, and held positions at LRL Capital, Kadem Capital and SAC Capital. 
• Mark Hill joins as a Trader in Equities He previously worked at Carlson Capital, ING Asset Management, Furman Selz and Bear Stearns.
• Troy Setrakian joins as a Trader / Portfolio Manager in Equities.  Most recently, he served as Director, Global Proprietary Trading – Equities at Bank of America /Merrill Lynch. 
• Renee Bijlani joins as a Trader in Equities.  She previously worked as a Portfolio Manager at Graham Capital Management and also held positions at Forest Investment Management and Susquehanna and Citicorp.
• Adam Booth joins as a Trader in Equities.  He previously worked at Asolare Capital, Boenning & Scattergood and Susquehanna International Group. 
• Patrick Clavin joins as a Trader in Equities.  He previously worked at Pandion Capital, Greenwich Investment Partners and Morgan Stanley.
• Michael Conway joins as an International Equities trader with a focus on Asia. He has 20 years of industry experience and was formerly Head of Emerging Markets trading at Bear Stearns. Most recently he was the Managing Director of the Octagon Division of GFI Securities
• Gary Meselsohn joins as a trader in Equities.  He previously worked at BTIG, Citigroup and Knight Securities.
• Trey Oglesby joins as a Trader in Equities. He previously served as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst for Friess Associates. 
• Eddie Sanchez joins as a Trader / Portfolio Manager in Equities.  He has previously worked at Credit Suisse, Galleon Group, Citigroup Investments and ES Advisors. 
• Ram Seshadri joins as a Trader / Portfolio Manager in Equities. He previously worked as a Senior Technology Analyst at Welch Capital Partners and, prior to that, held positions at Alyx Funds and Balyasny Asset Management.
