LED Lights Will Support Sustainable Cannabis Growth at Nevada Farm
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Illumitex, Inc., LED innovator and maker of the world's most optically advanced lighting products for horticulture, today announced it has signed a new customer, Green Life Productions (GLP). Based in Nevada, GLP is a pioneer in the organic cannabis cultivation industry. Illumitex's highly sophisticated lighting technology will enable Green Life Productions to accelerate and maximize sustainable cannabis growth without the use of harmful chemicals.
Green Life Productions is the only facility in Nevada currently producing medical cannabis, using an innovative permaculture method of growth. In the first phase of their plan, Green Life Productions has purchased over two hundred of Illumitex's NeoSol DS fixtures to encourage greater and more expedient harvests. Utilizing their advanced growing technique in tandem with Illumitex's horticulture LED lighting, the company achieves high quality and consistent yields.
