LiveXLive Media Names Entertainment Veteran Jules Haimovitz To Special Advisor Role

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LiveXLive Media, Inc. (OTC: LIVX) ("LiveXLive"), a global digital media company focused on live entertainment, announced today the appointment of entertainment veteran Jules Haimovitz to a special advisor role to LiveXLive and its senior management. Mr. Haimovitz has more than 35 years' experience developing, managing and leading some of the most well-known cable networks and production companies in entertainment, including Showtime, Lifetime, MGM, Dick Clark Productions, Viacom, Aaron Spelling Productions, Inc., and more. As part of his role within LiveXLive, Mr. Haimovitz will provide LiveXLive with strategic counsel as it continues to develop and expand within the industry.

Mr. Haimovitz currently serves as president of Haimovitz Consulting and manages clients that include CVC Capital Partners, MidOcean Capital Funds and Broad Sky Partners. Prior to his current position, he served as vice chairman and managing partner of Dick Clark Productions where he led its acquisition in 2002 through to its sale in 2007. From 1999-2001, Mr. Haimovitz led key aspects of MGM's business in his role as president of MGM Networks and chairman of the Library Task Force. He was charged with optimizing the sales of MGM's film library with a specific focus on the creation of new entertainment channels for the burgeoning worlds of digital cable and satellite television. During his time at MGM, Mr. Haimovitz also advised MGM's chairman and chief executive officers as a special consultant. Mr. Haimovitz recently joined the board of Inoviva, Inc. and was a former board member of Ariad Pharmaceuticals which was sold to Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited for $5.2 billion.

While there, he engineered the acquisition of Worldvision Enterprises, Inc. and Laurel Entertainment, Inc., and merged them with Aaron Spelling Productions. In addition to broadening Spelling's business through the tactful, strategic acquisitions, Mr. Haimovitz also oversaw the revitalization of the company's creative through the development of such iconic television series as "Twin Peaks" and "Beverly Hills 90210." Mr. Haimovitz joined Aaron Spelling Productions following a lengthy tenure at Viacom. While at Viacom, he managed more than $1 billion in revenues through the various senior management positions he served in, including president of Viacom Network Group and president of Viacom Entertainment Group. In these positions, he oversaw Showtime, Showtime's The Movie Channel, MTV Networks, Lifetime, and Viewer Choice its satellite pay-per-view network in addition to Viacom Enterprises, Viacom Worldwide Distribution Company, Viacom Productions and Viacom's stake in Orion Pictures Corporation.
