Luxury Online 'Fashion Curator' to Launch for Spring/Summer 2013
LONDON, March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
March 2013 sees the official launch of Atelier-To-Go, a brand-new e-commerce platform that offers a carefully-curated edit of contemporary labels, offered up in a glossy but approachable package.
The site proposes a unique shopping experience for women looking to update their style with chic, timeless pieces that transition from season to season. Runway looks and seasonal trends are interpreted for everyday wear via glossy editorial photography, bite sized videos and a colloquial tone. The mix of luxe essentials & must-have trends are handpicked to offer a complete, covetable wardrobe.
Jacqueline Stuart, Founder & CEO of Atelier-To-Go, first conceived the idea two years ago. She realised that just like her, lots of her friends adored fashion but didn't want to spend a small fortune on pieces that were more suited to the red carpet than real life. Jacqueline says, "Every woman I know has felt the thrill of getting her hands on that wonderful must-have bag or lusted after a gorgeous TDF dress. We want to try and capture the sheer excitement of finding something lovely and special. My aim is for the Atelier experience to be like shopping with your cool but fun best friend."
Atelier-To-Go will serve as the ultimate shopping platform, showcasing five 'spotlight' labels each season plus an edited selection from some of London's finest boutiques. Spotlight labels are selected by a team of credible fashion insiders, the labels for Spring/Summer '13 include L'Agence, Lara Bohinc, Paper London, Halston Heritage and Rebecca Minkoff.
Retail Director Sasha Ternent says, "We are thrilled to be representing such a covetable mix of brands which offer easy style and exciting wardrobe updates. Upcoming seasons will see this offer grow with the introduction of exclusive collaborations and bespoke pieces to add a special twist. We plan to make the everyday dream wardrobe a luxurious reality."
A roster of fashion insiders will each add their own style to the site; Stacey Duguid (ELLE) will write a fortnightly column on her witty, wise and ever-so-stylish take on how to wear clothes that work, whilst Natalie Hartley, Senior Fashion Editor at InStyle joins as a styling contributor, injecting her own, unique aesthetic.
Fashion insiders such as Anna Foster (Grazia contributor), Julia Brenard (Vogue Russia) & Andrew Davis (Wonderland) add a personal spin, with renowned retail consultant and ex-Harvey Nichols Buyer Bev Malik helping direct the seasonal edit. Tom Usher (Creative Director for Marie Claire) acts as Style Director for the site, with a team of behind-the-scenes videographers to complete the mix.
The site's 'Fashion File' adds a final flourish, compiling a 360° customer profile of everything from personal details and preferences to wish lists and favourite designers, for an integrated shopping experience. The site also serves up beautiful, beribboned surprises as 'Atelier Treats' - the site's unique loyalty scheme to their customers. Lastly, the "Adventures of an Atelier Girl" blog offers up some light hearted tales of one (anonymous) woman's life, loves and fashion addictions.
