McGraw-Hill Professional's Financial Communications Announces Launch of FINRA-Ready Fund Fact Sheets
This simple and reliable tool for communicating fund performance data and information to plan participants and retail investors now contains full disclosures to comply with the latest regulations
NEW YORK, April 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Financial Communications, a division of McGraw-Hill Professional and a collaboration of Standard & Poor's, today announced that a new FINRA-ready Fund Fact Sheet is now available for client use.
The two-page sheets can be generated on monthly or quarterly update cycles and are available for a variety of investment types, including mutual funds, ETFs, variable annuities, and company stock. They include detailed performance data to help investors make informed decisions, as well as supporting disclosures to help keep plan sponsors compliant with 404(c) regulations.
Morningstar or Lipper, worldwide leaders in financial data and analysis, can provide underlying data. Standard data includes recent and historical fund performance, benchmarking and peer comparison data, investment objectives, rankings, management style, share class, ticker, fees and expenses, risk disclosure, and portfolio composition.
The fact sheets also feature a handy glossary of terms to help less experienced investors understand key concepts. The fact sheets are available in PDF or HTML formats. All disclosures have been FINRA reviewed to help ensure a smooth submission process. Contact information for each investment helps investors quickly find the right resources for additional literature, such as prospectuses and summary prospectuses. Also, Financial Communications can co-brand fact sheets or design them to match a company's look and feel.
"With the increased pace of regulatory change it is very important for our clients to have fact sheets that help them meet current requirements and help their clients make informed decisions," said Larry McQuaid, vice president and general manager of Financial Communications. "We are committed to helping our clients meet the regulatory changes ahead."
