MedMal Direct Appoints Bryan Carter as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacksonville-based MedMal Direct Insurance Company (MedMal Direct) today announced the appointment of Bryan Carter as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this role, Carter will oversee the development and execution of strategies to support the company's medical professional liability insurance sales, service and marketing. In addition, Carter will be leading the expansion of CorePro Insurance Agency.

Carter brings more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry to MedMal Direct, including specialized expertise in insurance, regulatory compliance, credentialing and revenue cycle management.

Carter previously worked as a medical professional liability broker for Sterling Risk Advisors. As Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Services for MAG Mutual Insurance, he oversaw significant increases in both premium written and physician insured count as the company grew to the ninth largest medical professional liability specialty insurance company in the U.S. Prior to MAG Mutual, he was Director of Professional Programs and a Producer for Brown & Brown of Georgia.

Carter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and holds a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative designation.
