Missouri Employers Mutual Rolls Out New Loss Prevention Solution from Risk Control Technologies

TORONTO and COLUMBIA, MO, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Risk Control Technologies Inc., the industry-leading provider of loss control software solutions for insurers, today announced that Missouri Employers Mutual (MEM) has deployed the RC Inspection software solution in production to help streamline its loss prevention operations. MEM is Missouri's No. 1 provider of workers compensation insurance.

In 2011, MEM's Loss Prevention team lost its automated functionality due to changes in legacy systems. Since then, the team of Loss Prevention Consultants has been relying on Excel spreadsheets and Word document templates to support workflow and documentation. This led the team to conduct a search for a better solution.

Risk Control Technologies provides an industry-tailored software application that automates the loss control process for insurance companies. The system is a web-based application combined with an off-line laptop/tablet application to streamline the field survey and service process from request right through to completion of the field work and report creation.

To further enhance productivity and accuracy, MEM worked with Risk Control Technologies to integrate its Guidewire® PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter data into the new Loss Prevention system. The team also developed interfaces to integrate completed reports and letters from the Loss Prevention system into its imaging system nightly, along with batch print functionality for policyholders who prefer printed correspondence rather than email.

When this functionality comes to fruition, MEM will be able to mine data on a very granular level from all reports completed by Loss Prevention Consultants, enabling predictive analytics and comparative analysis over time.
