Musharraf Wraps Up US Trip---Visits 9/11 Memorial and Meets Vice President Biden
PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Former President of Pakistan and Chief of All Pakistan Muslim League, General Pervez Musharraf wrapped up a six day private visit to the United States.
During his stay in New York City, former President Musharraf visited the 9/11 Memorial and recorded an interview for the archives of the 9/11 museum. In the recording, he reflected on how events unfolded in Pakistan and the region immediately following the fateful day of September 11th, 2001. He recounted how the entire world had suffered that day when victims from more than 90 countries lost their lives, including seven citizens from Pakistan.
President Musharraf also attended the 112th annual Army Navy football game at FedEx Field in Maryland. During the game, the former President met with several serving and retired military personnel, business and political leaders, including Vice President Joe Biden.
