Greg Walden (R-OR), Chair of the National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee, will speak at a National Press Club Newsmaker news conference, Tues., Sept. 8, 10 a.m., in the Club's Zenger Room. Rep. Walden was selected by House Speaker John Boehner to chair the NRCC in November 2012. The Congressman serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee and chairs the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.
Residing in Hood River, Walden represents Oregon's Second Congressional District, and has served in Congress since 2009. The district is Oregon's largest geographically and includes Medford as its biggest city.
