NEEA Invites Energy Efficiency Community to Provide Input On Draft 2015-2019 Business Plan

PORTLAND, Ore., April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), a non-profit alliance of the region's utilities, the Bonneville Power Administration, and the Energy Trust of Oregon, is launching a series of regional events to gather input on NEEA's Draft 2015-19 Business Plan.

NEEA is inviting the energy efficiency stakeholder community to provide feedback and comments on a summary of NEEA's Draft 2015-2019 Business Plan, which NEEA's Board, advisory committees and staff have been formulating over the last eighteen months. This summary outlines the specific markets, savings goals, and the strategies and activities that NEEA will coordinate as a regional alliance to support its Strategic Plan to secure a vibrant, sustainable future for the Northwest. Regional stakeholders created NEEA nearly twenty years ago to achieve sustained energy efficiency benefits through a coordinated, market-based approach to the adoption of energy-efficient technologies.

Board members from local area utilities and energy efficiency organizations are hosting these events in Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington:

• Portland, Oregon - April 21
• Missoula, Montana -  April 22
• Spokane, Washington - April 23
• Boise, Idaho - April 28
• Seattle, Washington - April 30

These 90-minute sessions will include a short presentation and a Q&A panel hosted by NEEA's Executive Director, Susan E. Stratton and local NEEA Board members. In addition to the in-person meetings, Stratton and Board Chair James N. West will host two regional webinars on April 21 and May 2.
