Ohana Real Estate Investors Announces Fred Couples Signature Golf Course at Twin Dolphin Golf Club in Los Cabos, Mexico

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ohana Real Estate Investors, LLC (Ohana) announces plans for a Fred Couples Signature Golf Course and Twin Dolphin Golf Club within its development in Los Cabos, Mexico. The 18-hole course will feature views of the Sea of Cortez from its perched location within Ohana's 1,400-acre master planned community on the Golden Corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, which also contains the private residential community Maravilla Los Cabos and the upcoming five-star resort and residences Montage Los Cabos. The community is located on the site of the former iconic Hotel Twin Dolphin, and the golf club name will pay homage to that rich history.

The course will be available to residential owners at Maravilla Los Cabos, Montage Los Cabos, and future residential areas within the master plan. Design and development of the course, which will be the first Fred Couples Signature Golf Course in Los Cabos, has begun with a target opening date in 2018. Couples will work with Todd Eckenrode of Origins Golf Design, the architect of record. "Our aim is to build a world-class course that is unparalleled in Cabo with regard to conservation," said Alex Hill of Ohana. "The course will utilize a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis desalination plant being built to serve the entire master plan, and we are working with the design team to implement native landscaping and other design elements that will support our conservation efforts."
