Billion Dollar Search and Optimization Platform Spans 40 Markets

CHICAGO, Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnicom Media Group (OMG) today announced that it is uniting its Search agencies across some 40 countries under the Resolution Media brand, creating a leading global Search and Optimization platform that will more effectively leverage scale, data and knowledge on behalf of clients.  The new global brand will represent billions of dollars in client Search billing.

Until now, Resolution Media has operated in the U.S. only, while in other markets, Omnicom Media Group's Search offerings have been presented under a number of different brand names. The new global Resolution Media operation, with more than 700 search experts, will be led by President Alan Osetek, who has been leading the company's U.S. business.   

The new global structure builds on the successful history of Resolution Media, acquired by Omnicom Media Group in 2005.  Since then, Resolution has become a leading U.S. provider of Paid Search, Search Engine Optimization, Website Optimization and Social Content Management.  It serves some of the world's iconic digital advertisers, including the clients of Omnicom media agencies OMD Worldwide and PHD Network.

Resolution Media provides services to Search-only clients, as well as to the full-service clients of Omnicom media agencies OMD and PHD.  In the case of the media agency clients, they receive their holistic media strategies (inclusive of Search) from OMD or PHD, while Search activation and management is provided by Resolution Media.
