ONPATH Technologies Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

MARLTON, N.J., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ONPATH Technologies, the leader in scalable connectivity and monitoring solutions for high performance networks, today announced the appointment of Brian McCann as the company's new CEO. This appointment strengthens the latest phase in the company's new growth strategy. Mr. McCann brings with him considerable experience in the areas of revenue growth and market expansion for networking solutions. He succeeds Peter Dougherty, the company's Founding CEO, who remains in a strategic advisory role with ONPATH.

Mr. McCann joined ONPATH as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer in 2008.  He restructured the sales team and led the efforts to more than double revenues in 2009.  He also established a new Marketing organization to broaden the product strategy and application positioning. In the CEO role, Mr. McCann is also responsible for the new vision, corporate growth strategy, and total leadership of the business.

Prior to joining ONPATH, Mr. McCann was the founding President of the US Division of ADVA Optical Networking, where he successfully grew their North American business to over $100M in revenues, as global revenues exceeded $350M. Prior to that, he spent nine years in various senior management roles at 3M Corporation.
