Oramed Completes Over 50% Randomization in Its Pivotal 90-Day Clinical Study

NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ORMP) (TASE: ORMP) (www.oramed.com), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on the development of oral drug delivery systems, announced today that it has successfully randomized more than 50% of the expected 285 patients for its 90-day dose-ranging Pivotal Phase clinical study of its oral insulin capsule, ORMD-0801. The double-blind, randomized study for type 2 diabetes was initiated in April 2018 and is designed to generate meaningful data for both efficacy (HbA1c) and safety endpoints.
