WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Oro, Inc., the company behind the first global ecommerce platform created for B2B merchants, today announced that it has launched a tailor-made version of its product for Germany's ecommerce buyers and merchants.
Oro, Inc., the open source business application company started by the founders of Magento, officially launched OroCommerce 1.0 in January, 2017. It has already seen rapid global adoption, with implementations in progress at companies around the world, including a number of German corporations. Among them is Haneu Katalog GmbH, the Germany-based transport, warehouse technology company.
Oro believes the German ecommerce market holds significant potential; the company set up a German office headed by country manager Alex Shashin, and it has been steadily building a German version of its flagship product to offer custom B2B ecommerce solutions for German clients. In September 2017, Oro is also attending DMEXCO, Europe's leading trade show and conference on marketing and digital technology hosted by the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW).
The version announced today is completely localized for the German market. It allows German-based companies, and those doing business in the local market, an efficient, easy and tax compliant way to conduct and grow their businesses. The new version of OroCommerce is fully translated into German and is integrated with Germany's leading technology providers in shipping, payments, and other logistical services.
For shipping, Oro is partnering with DpD, the country's leading logistics and delivery company. DpD has a network of 28,000 pickup points across 230 countries, providing Oro's clients with a vast network to handle international commerce. For payments, Oro partnered with Infinitpay, a German financial management-solution company specializing in B2B ecommerce, and Wirecard, a payment processing provider. OroCommerce tax modules are even configured to handle all German taxes used by merchants.
