Pain Doctor Receives Significant Growth Investment From Catterton Partners, The Leading Consumer Focused Private Equity Firm

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pain Doctor, a leading pain management company providing standardized care and high-quality service, today announced a significant growth capital investment by Catterton Partners, the leading consumer-focused private equity firm.  The investment will be used to expand Pain Doctor's reach across the U.S. and build its support businesses, which include lead generation, lab services and natural pain relief supplements.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  

Arizona-based Pain Doctor provides a full suite of tailored services and treatment plans to help correctly diagnose a patient's source of pain and treat their condition in a comprehensive and integrated fashion. Treatments to alleviate pain include: multi-disciplinary clinical evaluations, bracing & orthotics, diagnostic testing such as MRI & EMG, stem cell therapy, minimally invasive injections, behavioral therapy, acupuncture and more.  The interventional techniques practiced by Pain Doctor are non-invasive and significantly less expensive than most hospital procedures.  Pain Doctor was founded by Drs. Tory McJunkin and Paul Lynch in 2007, and includes ten pain clinics and five surgical centers in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Denver.  Pain Doctor's surgery centers are joint venture partnerships with United Surgical Partners International (USPI), in which USPI provides its industry leading facility management and payer contracts and Pain Doctor brings valuable lead generation abilities and standard of care guidelines.
