Pennsylvania Governor Corbett Signs Additional Bills

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett signed into law the following bills on July 2:

House Bill 254 (PN 3874) – Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) further providing for display of registration plate & for learners' permits; providing for automated red light enforcement systems in certain municipalities; and for specific powers of department and local authorities.

House Bill 761 (PN 3894) – Amends Tax Reform Code, in sales and use tax, for definitions, exclusions from tax, etc.; in corporate net income tax; in insurance premiums tax; in EITC; in tax credits; community-based services tax credit; tax credit for new jobs; related repeals.

House Bill 2438 (PN 3659) – Amends Department of Banking Code amending the title of the act; further providing for conflicts of interest and penalty; reorganizing the Department of Banking and the Pennsylvania Securities Commission; and making related repeals.

Senate Bill 1122 (PN 2312) – Supplement to the act to accept the grant of Public Lands, by the United States, to the several states, for the endowment of Agricultural Colleges, making appropriations; method of accounting, and making an appropriation.

Senate Bill 1123 (PN 2313) – Supplement to the University of Pittsburgh-Commonwealth Act, making appropriations and providing for basis of payments, for a method of accounting for the funds appropriated and for certain fiscal information disclosure.

Senate Bill 1124 (PN 2314) – Supplement to the act providing for establishment & operation of Temple University and making appropriations; providing for basis for payments and for method of accounting for funds appropriated, and for certain fiscal information disclosure.

Senate Bill 1125 (PN 2315) – Supplement to the act providing for establishment and operation of Lincoln University; making an appropriation; providing for basis of payments and for method of accounting for the funds appropriated, and for certain fiscal information disclosure.

Senate Bill 1126 (PN 2316) – Act making appropriations to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania.

Senate Bill 1263 (PN 2351) - Amends The Fiscal Code, in general provisions, providing for payment to the Dept. of Revenue, transmission of funds; providing for 2012-2013 budget implementation; providing for 2012-2013 appropriations restrictions; making related repeals.
