Phillips Edison & Company Appoints Tanya Brady as Senior Vice President, General Counsel

CINCINNATI, April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Phillips Edison & Company appointed Tanya Brady to the position of Senior Vice President & General Counsel.

As General Counsel, Tanya will serve as key legal advisor on all major business transactions, lead corporate strategic and tactical initiatives and provide the company's leadership team with guidance on company strategies and their implementation. She will also continue to lead and grow the company's legal department in providing in-house, portfolio and asset level legal services and advice, as well as working with the finance department and portfolio management group to structure and close debt transactions, acquisitions, dispositions and entity level legal work.

Ms. Brady has over 20 years of experience and was previously a Partner with Kirkland & Ellis LLP in its Chicago office for 10 years, where her practice focused on structuring and negotiating joint venture and fund formation matters, asset (including distressed loans) and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions, corporate and property-level debt financings, and general real estate and corporate matters.  Ms. Brady received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago and she also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law Degree, which she received from the National University of Ireland College of Law in Dublin, Ireland.  She is licensed to practice in Illinois, Georgia and Ohio, and is a member of several organizations including CREW, NAREIT and ICSC.
