Platinum Protection Announces New CEO and CFO

AMERICAN FORK, Utah, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Platinum Protection, a national home security provider, today announced that Andrew Kindfuller has been named the company's new Chief Executive Officer, and that Scott MacArthur has been named Chief Financial Officer. Kindfuller, former COO at Guthy-Renker International, has become CEO as Jared Hallows, co-founder and CEO, moves to the role of Chief Operating Officer. MacArthur, the former CFO of ADT Security Services, joined Platinum on May 17th as CFO. Kindfuller joins Platinum with over 25 years of executive and management experience with leading direct response, manufacturing and consumer product companies. Prior to joining Platinum, Kindfuller was President of a leading global marketer of consumer educational materials. He had been the Chief Operating Officer of Guthy-Renker International, the international arm of the world's leading infomercial and direct response company, which markets leading brands including Proactiv Solutions. He previously held executive positions with International Flavors & Fragrances, Tetra Pak and Credit Suisse First Boston. Kindfuller has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Georgetown University. He also spent seven years leading audits at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm's Denver and Boston offices.
