BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Wireless Vision announces its acquisition of Ameritel International Wireless, expanding its reach as T-Mobile USA's largest T-Mobile Premium Retailer (TPR) into New York and New Jersey. Now operating more than 250 T-Mobile-branded retail locations across 16 states, this acquisition is a significant step in moving Wireless Vision's long term growth strategy forward.
"Our passion for growth is fueled by our desire to build a world class sales and service culture focusing on our customers' needs," said Saber Ammori, CEO, Wireless Vision. "We are excited about our future as we continue to strengthen our business with T-Mobile. The acquisition of Ameritel is a significant milestone for Wireless Vision as we near operating over 260 locations this year."
Wireless Vision has grown in little more than a decade from just five employees housed in a basement office beneath a dentist clinic, to more than 1,501 employees nationwide – 118 of whom are based in the Detroit Metro Area. The company's leadership team credits it success to providing customers with the best sales and service in the industry. Wireless Vision is equally dedicated to cultivating and caring for both existing and acquired employees, and was recently recognized with two "Best of" workplace awards in Detroit, Kansas City and Oklahoma.
"After more than 21 years in wireless we know how important it is to constantly be reinventing yourself, to assure you stay on the growth side of the business. Our decision to sell our 35 New York locations to Wireless Vision is a win-win for all parties. For those employees that will move over, they get to join a first class origination that is continuing to be an even larger part of T-Mobile's branded retail strategy. For Ameritel, we get a chance to take value out of a business when it's at an all-time high and reinvest it right back in to our existing business. This will allow us to continue our unrelenting momentum that allowed us to open over 150 exclusive dealer locations, over the last six quarters, aligned with T-Mobile's indirect strategy. This transaction marks the beginning of Ameritel's comprehensive 2016 realignment. With a forecast of 32% growth in revenue, we will invest heavily in front and back office to support, and double the number of exclusive retail locations for a second time in two years. We will continue to operate regionally as a branded retail partner, but our growth plans will encompass 12 states and includes personnel, regional offices, logistics, along with the addition of exclusive locations. 2016 should end with Ameritel being distinguished as the largest indirect distribution partner for T-Mobile due to the combined size of multicarrier presence, exclusive dealer locations and MetroPCS stores," said Nathan Yanovitch, CEO, Ameritel.
Established in 1996 as a single retail store, New York City-based Ameritel has grown into an influential provider of wireless services, cultivating a nationwide network of more than 3,500 indirect dealers. Ameritel owns and operates 70 stores, giving them an established presence in 27 states, including Puerto Rico. All Ameritel employees within the affected locations will be offered positions with Wireless Vision.
