Private Investors Invest 1.8 Million EUR Into FewoFerien and HolidayHomes.com and Company Announces Launch in the US
HolidayHomes and FewoFerien have six-figure turnover only eight weeks after launch - funding is going to push growth to the next level
FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany, Dec. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Just two months after its founding, FewoFerien has already become the second-largest vacation rental, hotel and flight metasearch in Germany. Users receive unparalleled access to millions of vacation rentals, hotels and flights through hundreds of travel providers. In the highly competitive area of travel search, FewoFerien wants to establish itself alongside other players such as Tripping.com, HomeToGo and Holidu.
The American version of FewoFerien, HolidayHomes.com, has also been launched in the United States and is off to an equally promising start. To support this mission, private investors have invested 1.8 Million Euro into this rising star in the vacation rental sector.
With the mission of simplifying travel planning, both FewoFerien (www.fewoferien.de) and HolidayHomes (www.holidayhomes.com) have been helping would-be vacationers compare vacation rental, hotel and flight prices on top travel websites worldwide since September 2017. FewoFerien and HolidayHomes are both owned by parent company Travel Meta GmbH and were launched in Frankfurt am Main, Germany just eight weeks ago. FewoFerien has already positioned itself as the second-largest travel search engine in the vacation rental space in Germany, right behind HomeToGo, that is operating since 2014. The fast growth is confirmed by traffic volume provided by the digital market intelligence platform SimilarWeb, which reports 1,034,608 visits for hometogo.de, 404,124 visits for fewoferien.de, 374,921 visits for holidayhomes.com and 336,420 visits for holidu.de for the three-week period between Oct. 23 and Nov. 11, 2017.

FewoFerien and HolidayHomes.com are currently focusing on marketing and user acquisition. An expansion to all European markets as well as other international markets should follow shortly. Future growth is also expected to be driven through TV advertising.
