Promotional Video for Asia International Stamp Exhibition Shown in New York's Times Square
NANNING, China, June 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2016 Asian International Stamp Exhibition will be held from December 2-6, 2016 in Nanning, the provincial capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in southern China.
A promotional video for the exhibition was recently broadcast in New York's Times Square to attract worldwide participators, as well as to present three of Nanning's most recent achievements; being chosen as the permanent venue for the China-ASEAN Expo, winning a UN Habitat Scroll of Honor award, and being recognized for its rich folk song heritage.
The 2016 Asian International Stamp Exhibition is the fourth FIAP (Inter-Asian Philatelic Federation) international stamp exhibition to be held in Mainland China, but it is the first to be held in one of China's ethnic minority areas.
The host city Nanning, one of China's key 'One Belt, One Road' initiative cities, is eco-friendly and open to rapid economic and social development. The exhibition is expected to promote the culture of stamp-collecting, and to enhance mutual understanding between peoples.
Trying to attract more visitors and investors from all over the world, the video is set to play on a loop 40 times a day in May, October and November in New York's Times Square, which is known as 'the crossroads of the world'.
