LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced that Brian Cullinan, a 28-year veteran of the firm, has been appointed as the Market Managing Partner (MMP) for PwC's Greater Southern California market.   Based in Los Angeles, he will direct the strategy and operations of PwC's offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Phoenix and Las Vegas.  He succeeds Martha Corbett, who is moving to a national Advisory role.

Brian began his career with PwC in Boston and was admitted to the partnership in 1997. He's spent much of his career providing technical accounting, auditing and business advisory services to complex global clients in the media, entertainment and technology sectors.  He was recently elected to PwC's U.S. Board of Partners and Principals and has served in several other leadership roles in the firm, including serving as the Assurance Leader for the U.S. Entertainment, Media & Communications practice as well as his current role as the West Region Assurance Leader.  Brian is a board member of the Shelter Partnership and is a member of the United Way's Alexis de Tocqueville Society.  He received his Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University and a Masters Degree in Financial Accounting from Northeastern University.  He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA and is a Certified Public Accountant in California, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
