To bring the spirit of giving to the Season of Social, QVC will participate in #GivingTuesday, an initiative of the United Nations Foundation and the 92nd Street Y that creates a national day of giving. In alignment with #GivingTuesday, QVC will launch its own giving campaign, called Give Joy, which will run from December 3, 2013, through January 3, 2014. QVC selected four charities that support the success and wellness of women through the power of relationships, and will be matching customer donations up to $150,000. Give Joy beneficiaries include the American Heart Association, Cancer and Careers, Dress for Success Worldwide, and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
