Ram Sarma Joins Rosetta as Partner, Technology
Will Serve on Healthcare Leadership Team and Lead East Coast Team in Technology Discipline
PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Publicis Groupe customer engagement agency Rosetta announced today that it has hired Ram Sarma as Partner, Technology. He will be based in the agency's Princeton headquarters and report directly to Chief Technology Officer Joe Lozito.
"Ram brings deep knowledge across the marketing tech landscape, including extensive experience in product strategy, strategic planning, client management, operations and infrastructure leadership, best practices change management and business process development," said Lozito. "His leadership strengthens our ability to develop and deploy innovative technology solutions that help global brands unlock and activate human behavior."
In his new role, Sarma will serve on Rosetta's Healthcare Leadership Team and lead the East Coast team of the agency's Technology Discipline, which includes architects, engineers and developers, quality assurance professionals and business analysts. The Technology Discipline serves as the foundation for Rosetta's integrated content, commerce, personalization and innovative connected device solutions.
Sarma joins Rosetta from DigitasLBi in New York, where he served as Group Director, Technology & Architecture. In that senior strategic and technology leadership position, he was responsible for successful delivery of all strategic technology and architectural engagements across DigitasLBi's key clients, with a strong focus on healthcare clients such as J&J, Reckitt, Forest and BMS, among others. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Product and Technology/Architecture for SAI Global in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
Sarma has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in India.
