Ray Barrett to Chair Board of Triumph Pharmaceuticals

Known as an "entrepreneur's entrepreneur," Barrett brings a unique mix of experience to the table, with success in the medical and healthcare markets, as well as consumer products. Barrett has developed Biomedical Systems into a global organization offering clinical trials throughout the world. Prior to that, he founded Landshire Food Systems, a manufacturer and distributor of packaged goods, which he sold to Southland Corporation, the parent company of 7-11, in 1977.

His interest in SmartMouth stems from its innovative science. "In the course of my career, I've learned that if you don't innovate, you disintegrate," Barrett says.
