Board of Directors: "On Wednesday I resigned from the Board of Directors of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. The Board's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee did not do its job properly. I care deeply about the members and shareholders of WellCare, and this was a very difficult decision for me. I resigned not with anger, but in loyalty to WellCare, its members and its shareholders. For WellCare to succeed, the problems that I raised in my resignation letter must be addressed."
