LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rentrak (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in precisely measuring movies and TV everywhere, today announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of Oct. 25, 2015, as compiled by the company's theatrical measurement services.

Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Another out-of-this-world performance for Fox's 'The Martian' as it adds another $45.9 million this weekend and thus brings its total global tally to within striking distance of $400 million.
