Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Partners with Keyur Patel to Launch New Indian Production & Distribution Company, Relativity Media India

LOS ANGELES, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Media, LLC ("RML"), announced today a partnership with Keyur Patel, of Fuse Capital to form Relativity Media India ("RMI"), a newly formed film, television and digital media distribution, production and finance company headquartered in Mumbai, India that looks to expand Relativity's international presence. RMI will handle distribution for all future Relativity Media single pictures for the India Marketplace (one of the fastest growing film markets in the world) and will immediately begin acquiring English language films from other Hollywood studios and producers for distribution in India across all platforms.

RMI is also set to develop, produce and distribute local language content by partnering with some of India's finest local talent. RMI will create original content for all platforms including film, television and video games, as well as license, adapt and remake internationally successful content and formats for the local market.

RMI is concluding the acquisition of distribution rights to more than 30 English language films, dating back to earlier this year.

Partnering with Kavanaugh is Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Keyur Patel along with a team that includes 11 seasoned executives who will oversee all aspects of marketing, distribution, finance, legal and creative.

As Chairman and CEO of Fuse+Media, Keyur Patel has been an investor in some of the largest TV networks, films and productions in India, as well as a producer in several film and media projects in Hollywood and Bollywood.
