Sara Bareilles Scores Grammy Nomination

NEW YORK, Dec. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Epic recording artist Sara Bareilles marked another achievement today in what's become a remarkable year for the singer-songwriter by grabbing her third career Grammy Nomination. "King Of Anything," the hit single from her sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Heart garnered Sara a nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance as nominees for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced at the Nokia Theatre last evening.

The nomination comes off the heels of, Kaleidoscope Heart debuting at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart upon its release on September 7th. Critics have praised Sara's sophomore efforts on Kaleidoscope Heart across the board. The Wall Street Journal raved, "Kaleidoscope Heart plants Sara in Billy Joel territory." Kaleidoscope Heart – which Sara wrote and the renowned Neal Avron produced - is the follow up to her massive Grammy nominated debut, Little Voice which has sold over 1 million copies worldwide and garnered the singer/songwriter two Grammy nominations for the triple platinum hit single, "Love Song."

Sara is currently back out on the road headlining shows in over 30 major cities across America in support of Kaleidoscope Heart.
