Sedgwick names Gregg Hammann chief strategy officer
MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., the leader in technology-enabled claims and productivity management solutions, announced today that Gregg Hammann has joined the company as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.
Hammann brings to Sedgwick nearly 30 years of experience in management and executive leadership. As president and CEO of publicly-traded Nautilus Inc. from 2003 to 2007, he led the company's dramatic turnaround from near bankruptcy to the most profitable company in fitness.
Most recently, Hammann owned and operated the consultancy Action Advisors, Inc, which helped companies like Walt Disney and Microsoft develop their strategic planning capabilities. He has also held management positions with Levi Strauss & Company, The Coca-Cola Company, Famous Footwear, The Rayovac Corporation and Procter & Gamble.
Hammann holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and certification from UCLA's Anderson School of Business in Sarbanes-Oxley accounting as a financial audit expert. He has served as a lecturer and adjunct professor for the MBA programs at the University of Dubuque and Northwestern University.
