Seminar On Limiting Exposure To Cancer Will Take Place In Fall
ATLANTA, Sept. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As cancer diagnoses continue to rise in the U.S., so does the urgency for finding solutions. This fall, certified nutritionist and holistic practitioner Dr. Joseph L. Williams will present medically and scientifically based information that he believes can help decrease the likelihood of getting the disease. On October 7, Dr. Williams will lead a "Cancer Free Living" at Salem Bible Church in Atlanta.
The free seminar will equip participants with progressive knowledge that will help them balance hormones and eliminate toxins in the body. From 9:00am-2:00pm, attendees will participate in sessions and activities that will teach them about nutrition and healthy living.
"Research shows that one in four people will die from cancer. But, as someone who believes in healing, I can't just sit back and accept that," explained Dr. Williams. "To my core, I believe that proper nutrition and exercise can combat illness and disease. And, I want to share that message as well as the tools needed to see changes. This seminar is just the beginning!"
The American Heart Association, American Stroke Association and Empowered to Serve – a network dedicated to improving health within multicultural communities – have already signed on as event sponsors. To boost engagement, the sponsors, in partnership with the host facility Salem Bible Church, are offering the first 500 registrants free lunch and a healthy cooking demonstration during break at the seminar.
Dr. Williams has assisted more than 5,000 people on their personal journey of healthy eating and living. Through this seminar, he hopes to shake up the way people see nutrition and empower them to take the fight against cancer into their own hands.
