Two California brands collaborate to create a tequila-infused candy collection

LOS ANGELES, May 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- You had me at tequila. Sugarfina, the luxury candy boutique, has partnered with award-winning spirit brand Casamigos Tequila, to create a new collection of tequila-infused candies.

The two Southern California-based brands make perfect partners: Sugarfina is best known for innovative cocktail-inspired candies like premium Champagne Bears® and Casamigos Tequila creates ultra-premium, small-batch tequilas made from the finest, hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

The Sugarfina x Casamigos collection features three new candies: Shake Your Margarita, a crisp, clean Blanco-infused margarita gummy with hints of lime and sweet agave; Paloma Por Favor, a juicy sour grapefruit gummy infused with Reposado and rolled in superfine sweet and tart sugar crystals; and Give It a Shot, a rich dark chocolate cordial filled with a smooth sip of Casamigos Añejo Tequila.

The candies are packaged in Sugarfina's signature Candy Cubes™. Flavors are sold individually and also as part of the You Had Me at Tequila Candy Bento Box®, which features all three candies in a specially-designed Sugarfina x Casamigos gift box. For the sweetest cocktail hour, the Candy + Tequila Bento Box® pairs the three candies with mini bottles of Casamigos Blanco, Reposado and Añejo tequilas, making the perfect gift for a tequila lover.

As part of the collaboration, Sugarfina will also introduce a new You Had Me at Tequila chocolate bar featuring the finest spiced 64% dark chocolate topped with smoked sea salt, the perfect flavor pairing with Casamigos Añejo Tequila.
