Shaun White Presents "White Christmas": 8 Days of Holiday Gifting

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- This holiday season Shaun White is bringing his festive gift-giving campaign "White Christmas" to Facebook users. Produced by Shaun and directed by his brother Jesse, "White Christmas" features comedic videos of Shaun in full holiday mode and offers daily prize packages from him and his sponsors for 8 days beginning on Dec 3^rd.

In 2011 Shaun's "White Christmas" was conceived and executed in collaboration with his longtime sponsor, Burton Snowboards; the campaign ran on Burton.com and Burton's Facebook page. During "White Christmas", Burton saw its single biggest spike in Facebook fan acquisition on the day when Shaun directed his fans to Burton's page.

The 2011 campaign successes inspired Shaun to grow "White Christmas" to incorporate his sponsors and cross-pollinate to offer his fans an extravaganza of gear and prizes.  "The traffic 'White Christmas' drove last year when we did it with Burton was off the charts," Shaun said of the last year's campaign, "I thought it would be cool to blow it up this year, include all of my sponsors and produce it on my own."
