Sirius Solutions Expands Commodity and Energy Trading by Appointing Seamus Maher as Director in London

HOUSTON, Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius Solutions, L.L.L.P. (Sirius Solutions), an independent business consulting firm, today announced further expansion in its London office through the addition of Seamus Maher. Maher joins Sirius Solutions as a Director in the firm's Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Services practice.  In his new role, Maher will work with clients in Trading and Risk Management (TRM) evaluation, selection and business and systems architecture assessment, along with the implementation, migration, integration and custom development of these applications.  Central to Sirius Solutions' drive to deliver quantifiable value and business benefit to its clients, this will expand the business and technology optimization services that maximize clients return on investment in TRM systems for commodity and energy.

Maher has deep experience in the design and implementation of solutions for the energy and financial services markets across both the operational and technological levels.   He has extensive knowledge of customer support structures and processes through serving both internal and external clients, dealing with existing systems and greenfield implementations.  Prior to joining Sirius Solutions, Maher served as Business Analyst, Front Office and Operations at BP GTEL.  In this role, he reviewed, designed and delivered optimized trading solutions involving extensive liaison with front and middle office staff.    Maher has also held positions with RWE Supply and Trading, OpenLink International and Citibank.  He spent over 10 years focused on the OpenLink Endur and Findur applications; with business architecture, analysis and team lead responsibilities.   He holds a BA (Honors) in Public Policy from Southampton Solent University.
