
Smart City Week 2011 in Japan - 14 Companies Will Be Chosen to Receive Free Booth Space, Business Meetings and More in JETRO Zone, Applications Due July 8
SAN FRANCISCO, June 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Companies are invited to apply to be one of 14 companies chosen to participate in JETRO's business matching program and be showcased in the JETRO Zone during Smart City Week 2011.
Smart City Week is an international conference and exhibition hosting key players from Japan and abroad, as well as representatives of both national and municipal governments, involved in the planning and development of Smart Cities. It will be held this October in Yokohama, Japan.
The JETRO Zone is an area on the exhibition floor highlighting companies that JETRO has chosen to showcase to Smart City Week attendees.
Companies selected for this program will receive:
- Pre-arranged business meetings with Japanese companies
- Booth space and stand with basic equipment
- An interpreter or booth attendant, working exclusively for each company
- Inclusion in public relations efforts, including the "JETRO ZONE Exhibitors" brochure
Companies eligible to apply include those interested in investing in Japan, or currently seeking Japanese partners to establish a business in Japan, and involved in the following areas:
- Energy solutions
- Smart house and building solutions
- Next-generation mobility solutions
- Electronic devices and solutions
