Solera Holdings, Inc. to Sponsor Massachusetts General Hospital's Aspire Gala
WESTLAKE, Texas, March 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Solera Holdings, Inc. is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2016 Aspire Gala in Boston, Mass., on Thursday, March 31st to support Aspire's mission of equipping young adults on the autism spectrum with the tools and skills they need to lead successful independent lives.
Located in Boston, Aspire is a Massachusetts General Hospital program and is dedicated to providing children, teens, and adults with high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related profile with the knowledge and skills necessary to make social connections and develop independence to lead successful and fulfilling lives.
For the second consecutive year, Solera will be an Innovative Sponsor, donating over $175,000 to the Aspire organization. The sponsorship represents Solera's LIFT initiative and commitment to enabling second chances by empowering those in need with the tools and resources to create a sustainable future impact in their lives and community.
During a VIP event held before the gala, Solera's Founder, Chairman and CEO, Tony Aquila, will introduce Solera and the uncommon Aspiration Summit program Solera created for Aspire in September of 2015. The first Aspiration Summit took place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and was designed to provide a transformational experience for nine young adults in Aspire's internship program to help them develop important skills they need to reach their personal aspirations at home.
At last year's Summit, nine young adults ages 22 - 26 were able to:
- Work individually and in groups with trainers from the Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association to experience the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and equine assisted activities;
- Create relationships and lifelong memories with a close-knit group and dedicated staff; and
- Push their limits physically, mentally and emotionally to reach new heights among the natural beauty of Jackson Hole.
