The campaign launch coincides with the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids' Winter Wish Gala held on December 13 in New York City. According to a 2014 study from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, every day 2,500 kids between the age of 12 and 17 abuse a prescription pain reliever for the first time.
