Spin Master Teams Up with Toys'R'Us to Answer the 'Call to Brawl' With Bakugan Battle League

TORONTO, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Spin Master announced it has teamed up with Toys"R"Us, to bring the first official Bakugan national league to Bakugan brawlers across the country. An exclusive program only at Toys"R"Us, the Bakugan Battle League consists of five monthly league events taking place at 300 Toys"R"Us locations across the U.S. beginning July 24, and culminates in a finale event on November 13. Brawlers interested in taking part can find a list of participating Toys"R"Us stores at www.bakuganbattleleague.com and must bring their own Bakugan Battle Brawlers to participate.

This one of a kind, story-based league was created by Bakugan's game designer in association with Toys"R"Us.  Each of the league's five events are built around an original Bakugan story, and how kids play directly affects how the story unfolds over the course of the league.  Each game point won in league play counts as a vote for what they want to happen next.  Results from participating Toys"R"Us locations across the country will be tallied to determine the winning selection which will lead the next chapter of the story at the following league event.

At each event, participants will receive a membership card, league book, an exclusive Special Ability Card, as well as giveaways and chances to win prizes.  Additionally, those who complete the league will receive a certificate to commemorate the event. Children are not required to attend all five events in order to participate, as each event welcomes new and returning players.

• Saturday, August 28: 12 noon – 2pm
• Saturday, September 18: 12 noon – 2pm
• Saturday, October 9: 12 noon – 2pm
• FINALE!  Saturday, November 13: 12 noon – 2pm
