Stanford Children's Health And Other Healthcare Leaders Turn To Next-Generation Medical Image Management Platform From DICOM Grid

Additionally, their ability to exchange medical image data will now be even more seamless as DICOM Grid becomes one of the first organizations to commit to the RSNA Image Share Validation Program, a new initiative from the Radiological Society of North America designed to expand access to medical imaging and diagnostic reports.

Announced on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the start of the 101st RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, the RSNA Image Share Validation Program is a new initiative to encourage the adoption of standards for image exchange. DICOM Grid will be one of the first organizations to participate in the pilot program that involves testing conducted by initiative collaborators the RSNA, the Sequoia Project, who are responsible for several national interoperability initiatives, and the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University in St. Louis.
