Stephen Perrine, Joe Heroun join David Zinczenko on Men's Fitness Team
Former Men's Health and Best Life staffers to assist in magazine's redesign
NEW YORK, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- American Media, Inc. announced today that Stephen Perrine, former Editor in Chief of Best Life and Publisher of Rodale Books, and design guru Joe Heroun, formerly of Men's Health, have joined former colleague David Zinczenko in his repositioning of Men's Fitness under American Media Chairman and CEO David Pecker.
Perrine, who left parent company Rodale with Zinczenko, was formerly Editorial Creative Director of Men's Health before taking the reins at the well-respected men's fashion book Best Life, which reappeared on newsstands last fall as a single issue publication. Heroun created the ASME-winning redesign of Women's Health and was the original design director of Best Life. He has also served as creative director of The New Republic and as Editor-in-Chief of Boston magazine.
AMI also announced that Men's Fitness editor-in-chief, Michael De Medeiros, has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.
