Stop the Press: Tyler Barnett and Jenna Watson Are Getting Hitched

LOS ANGELES, April 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Two of Los Angeles' most sought after PR pros, Tyler Barnett and Jenna Watson, will be officially out of circulation after exchanging "I do's" at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, California, on April 6, 2014.   After founding their own respective public relations firms, the couple is now pleased to celebrate the founding of their ideal match in one another.

Barnett and Watson first met at a mutual friend's party in 2006.  Donning an oversized suit and square glasses, Barnett, a brand new CEO was immediately captivated by then aspiring model and actress, Watson.  Despite a night of witty banter and ample laughs, the two eventually lost touch.  However, 4 years later, Watson would be sitting across from Barnett's desk, interviewing for a position at his firm.  Uncomfortable with the thought of limiting himself to a purely B2B relationship with the budding publicist, Barnett chose to not offer Watson a job at Tyler Barnett PR, but instead offered her dinner and drinks. The two have been inseparable ever since.

"As skeptical as I was over my could-have-been boss asking me out, the chemistry between us was too powerful to ignore," says Watson. "Our first date was the best date of my life and it was clear we had something very special. After finding easy success as a publicist elsewhere, Watson made the decision to launch her own public relations firm, Visionary 5, in 2012, an action that quickly solidified the pair's reputation as an unstoppable PR power couple.  However, on December 27, 2012, Barnett would prepare his most important proposal yet—one that would take him from a full service business owner to a full service fiancé.  On the legendary Love Lock Bridge in Paris, France, Barnett asked Watson for her hand in marriage.  The Eiffel Tower glittered in the distance.  The custom-made ring glittered on her hand.  She, of course, said yes.

"I would have hired Jenna on the spot if it weren't for the warnings of my then Account Executive, who thought I was a bit too excited to offer the brilliant and beautiful candidate a job," says Barnett. "The fact of the matter was, I fell in love with her instantly. I couldn't imagine seeing her only a few days a week at the office. I needed to see her everyday for the rest of my life."

Now, after much anticipation, the perfectly paired duo will go "on the record" with their love and commitment in an intimate wedding ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  In front of their friends and family, Jenna and Tyler will now launch a lifetime of togetherness.
