MAHWAH, N.J., July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Stryker Performance Solutions (SPS), the business unit of Stryker's Reconstructive Division that partners with hospitals and healthcare providers to help improve quality outcomes, patient satisfaction and profitability in the orthopaedic segment, has expanded its digital offering to help healthcare providers reduce costs and increase patient satisfaction 90 days beyond patient discharge after joint replacement surgery.  The new tool -- Episode Performance Manager™ (EPM) -- translates raw claims data provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) into dynamic reports that allow decision makers to understand cost-drivers, identify opportunities for improvement and compare performance of hospitals participating in Medicare's Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) model.
