Sunny Street Cafe(TM) Sets Sight on Renewed Growth in 2010

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- With a full brand conversion underway from Rise & Dine™ Restaurants, Inc. to Sunny Street Cafe™, the breakfast-lunch chain is announcing new restaurant openings nationwide.

"We are undergoing a full brand makeover and re-engineering our menu to bolster our lunch offerings and to build upon the all-day breakfast concept, and potential franchisees are responding," Michael Stasko Sr., chairman of the board, said. Sunny Street Cafe is opening three new restaurants in the coming months with five additional restaurant agreements underway. The new restaurants and available target opening dates include:

• 7042 Hospital Dr., Dublin, Ohio (off Avery Rd.) – NOW OPEN
• 7531 Krile Rd. Concord, Ohio 44060 (Cleveland area) – opening April 2010
• 2135 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, Kansas – opening April 2010
• Clearwater, Florida
• Edwardsville, Illinois
• Houston, Texas
• Dallas, Texas
• Columbus, Ohio

The new location in Dublin, Ohio, owned and operated by Asch and Kate Mikhail, marks the first Central Ohio restaurant to open with the Sunny Street Cafe name and new menu. Sunny Street Cafe will convert all existing restaurants to the new brand identity and launch its new menu by April 2010.  The new menu includes items such as Sunny Street Benedict, Loaded Hash Browns, Green Light Breakfast Sandwich, Signature Reuben, Half Pound Black Angus® Burgers, Southwest Turkey Club and Fresh Spinach Salad.

"We are keeping our most popular favorites and enhancing several of them, such as offering our popular Black Angus® Burger western-style with bacon, BBQ sauce, jack cheese and an onion ring," Stasko said. "We also are expanding our lunch and brunch choices and offering more healthy items."
